Granite Bay High School was temporarily locked down yesterday after a threatening note was found on campus. The handwritten note contained a threat to shoot up the school, and was found in a student restroom, according to a news release from Roseville Joint Union High School District. Placer County Sheriff Deputies conducted a room-by-room search and released classrooms one-by-one to leave the school. The Sheriffs cleared the school without further incident and said they will continue to investigate the source of the threatening letter.
A similar note Friday in a restroom stall at Adelante High School in Roseville. Administrators called Roseville police, who locked down the school and searched the campus. This comes a mere two weeks after the mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17.A
