Ita s finally happening! AM-950 KAHI Radio, the Voice of the Foothills, flips the switch Thursday, March 8th at high noon, and FM 104.5 will be born. All the great programming you hear on AM 950 will be simulcast on FM 104.5, but the FM signal will go deeper and longer with additional coverage. The added benefit is that FM 104.5 will have a consistent pattern day and night with better fidelity.
The countdown will begin at 11:50 AM on AM 950, and at high noon, FM 104.5 will come alive. The noon hour will feature local community leaders and celebrities on both FM 104.5 and AM 950 KAHI. There will also be an open house at the station at 985 Lincoln Way in Auburn starting at 11:30 AM and the public is welcome to stop by for a piece of cake.
