The Yes on Measure E campaign announced receiving the endorsement of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce represents one of the largest business communities in the Sierra Community College District that Measure E will benefit.
“The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce supports Measure E because it is written responsibly in a way that protects taxpayers while bringing the Sierra Campus up to today’s standards,” said Lincoln Chamber President Cherri Spriggs-Hernandez. “Measure E will benefit not only the current students but it will support the local economy by updating the campus to meet the training needs of today’s work force.”
The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce joins a broad coalition of supporters supporting the campaign including the entire County Board of Supervisors, local elected officials and individuals. A complete list can be found on the www.YesOnMeasureE.com website.
Yes on Measure E is a local Bond Measure campaign to help fund upgrades, repairs and classroom construction at one of the area’s oldest community colleges. Measure E will require a 55% vote of the voters inside portions of the Sierra Joint Community College District in El Dorado, Placer and Sacramento Counties.
