The Sacramento Jazz Festival, entertaining locals for 44 years, blew its last note this weekend. With 16 bands this year, the traditional Dixie land sounds that started in 1974 faded out for the last time. The City of Roseville is planning a similar event in hopes to have the tradition continue, just in another location.
