Placer County Supervisors at tomorrowa s meeting will hear a plan presented by the Sheriffa s office for a revision of the plan to retrofit the North Auburn jail. An original plan that would have cut the jail beds from 276 to 200 has been revised to 264, down 12 rather than 76. The cost to add cameras, flooring, paint, changes to bathrooms to accommodate the American Disabilities act, plus other improvements will be an estimated 3.3 million dollars. Supervisors will meet at 9am at Fulweiler Ave.
