Del Oroa s Senior Football Coach called a mandatory meeting of his team to a special meeting yesterday afternoon and announced the school was volunteering to return the 2018 Sac-Joaquin Section Division pennant and CIF Northern Division I-A trophy to the statea s governing offices. Jeff Waters explained to his astonished team that Del Oro High School unknowingly used an ineligible player in the play-off game that Del Oro won 20-17 over Central Catholic of Modesto on December first at Sacramento State. The game will now be listed as vacated.A Also the CIF 14-13 win in Loomis on December 7th with Saint Francis of Mountain View will be listed as Vacated. Del Oro self reported the violation.
