(Courtesy of Dario de Ghetaldi) .PG&E said yesterday that it is probable that one of their transmission lines could have sparked the blaze last November that leveled the community of Paradise and surrounding communities, destroyed over 14 thousand homes, killed 86 and left 27 thousand people homeless. The fire cause is still under investigation but firefighters say they found the start of the fire at one of the transmission towers on PG&Eas Caribou-Palermo transmission line. PG&E said they are taking a charge of 10.5 Billion dollars to protect them in the upcoming bankruptcy process that started in January.
