El Dorado Hills may be getting a new Costco Store. County officials say the company is in the initial stages trying to find a good location, then start the process of permits and hearings in an attempt to start construction next year. Costco says there are 40 thousand members that live in the surround area the store would serve. Questions on why another store since there is one close by in Folsom. The company and county say there Folsom store is over loaded with members, and the new store would provide a better shopping experience for all concerned. The proposed new store would cover 150 thousand square feet and have 800 parking spaces.
