The National Weather Service has issued an EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH for the Sacramento Valley Saturday morning through Sunday night. Temperatures are expected to exceed 100 to 110 degrees this weekend, and the officials are sending the message that water and sunscreen are the most important items to consider for this weekend. Persons that go to the lakes and rivers are cautioned to make sure you have proper safety equipment like life jackets and a plan in case your get into a situation that could risk your life. Current and cold waters are still present on the River and Lake systems through out the five county area.
