The US House passed a bill yesterday that will grant the legal Marijuana business access to the federal banking system, a major move for the pot growers and sellers. The Bill called the SAFE Banking Act passed 321 to 103 with most democrats in support and close to half of the republicans. The Senate must now approve but insiders believe they have good support. This will relieve the problems that the industry has had since the transactions have been all cash, and special systems have been required by states to get taxes paid and danger of owners carrying large amounts of cash since no banks can accept the revenues generated by the cannabis industry which is in the multi millions of dollars daily.
