The Nevada City Council will discuss the potential of removing the Mayors title from the current Mayor Reinette Senum. The Vice Mayor Erin Minett brought a motion before the council which was approved to be on the agenda at tonighta s meeting. The motion expressed concern that the mayor had made critical public comments about the cities motion on wireless 5G services, and the Mayor openly solicited opposition to the motion. The council stated the comments were personal opinion and not necessarily the opinion of the community or the City Council. The motion is only to remove Title and not the position.
