Several businesses and events are closing today as a result of individual decisions and reactions to the Governor and President as communication is moving between all levels of Government and Business. The General information we have so far:
State wide school closures affective today includes local Placer and El Dorado county systems; State Theatre in Downtown Auburn closed until end of Month, rescheduling all activity; ROTARY organization has cancelled all meetings for the remainder of the month; ELKS closing until March 26th; Placer County Court system closing most activity until April 20; Navy League meeting this week postponed; Placer County Historical Meeting cancelled; Auburn City Hall will provide all services and official meetings are expected to be held, however all other public meetings and all meeting rooms at City Hall, Police Station and the Airport are not available to the public or available for rent until March 31st.A A With all the cancellation activity ita s recommended everyone checks before attempting to attend any scheduled event.
