Activity in the Golden State Killer/East area Rapist case yesterday in Sacramento. Joseph James DeAngelo Jr appeared in court as Lawyers report they have reached a deal that will allow DeAngelo to plead guilty to 88 murders, rape and other charges at a June 29th hearing and therefore avoid the death penalty. Details of the agreement have not been released. The savings in millions of dollars in a very sensational case will now be avoided if this agreement gets fully processed and approved by the court.
