The CHP is warning motorists to be alert to a dangerous phenomenon that is occurring throughout the area on interstate highways called a Side Showsa . A Side Show is caused when a group of drivers swerve across lanes stopping traffic in all lanes, then go into spin-outs, high speed maneuvers, and racing, creating a very dangerous situation. A Police report one Side Show occurred on I 5 south of Sacramento in the pocket area Sunday at 2AM. 10 vehicles were taken into custody by police after they got it stopped.
