A Loomis man was arrested after slamming into a parked Placer County sheriffas SUV on Sunday night, according to the Placer County Sheriffas Office.

According to a tweet from the Sheriff’s office, the incident happened in the parking lot of the Horseshoe Bar Road substation. Police say Justin Robert Cochran, 28, was under the influence of drugs when he drove his Subaru Impreza into a parked Sheriffas SUV around 7:30pm, moving it about 6 feet.

In a post on Facebook, police said while Cochran was at the hospital for medical clearance after the crash, he attempted to run from deputies, racking up a charge of resisting arrest in addition to his DUI.

Cochran was booked into the South Placer Jail with bail set at $15,000.
