One of the busiest holiday weekends of the year, Labor Day weekend, will be hindered by a partial closure of interstate highway 5 in Sacramento so crews can repair and inspect the surface that has been marred by potholes and breaks over the past month. I-5 northbound lanes at Richardson Boulevard in Sacramento will be reduced to two only lanes while Caltrans Crews inspect and repair this section of highway. Various closings will start tonight at 11 pm, and last until 4 am Tuesday. The I-street exit will also be closed for the duration of the repairs.
