The knifing incident suspect at the Auburn Library that occurred on Tuesday has been identified by Authorities as Opada Joseph Opada of Auburn. Opada is being held on a no-bail hold after he was arrested late on Tuesday and admitted to the Placer County Jail on Wednesday morning. Of the three victims, two are still hospitalized and suffering significant injuries. Auburn police say the act appears to be a random event, however no details at what may have caused the incident have been released. One witness said he believed the man was homeless and he had seen him at the Library before.A The investigation is ongoing.
