11-year-old baton twirler Olivia Nash from Lincoln has been selected to represent Team USA at the World Championships in Norway from March 29 to April 1. Olivia’s mother Ella Nash says they are very excited and proud, but that the competition is very costly.
The young twirler is a member of Nash Twirling Academy in Lincoln, and has been collecting plastic bottles and aluminum cans to raise funds, and family, friends and colleagues are donating to her cause.
You can help by donating on her PayPal account at www.PayPal.me/OliviaNorway.
Ella Nash is also the owner of NTA, and says she is looking for a facility in Lincoln to create an indoor twirl academy. The twirl academy teaches baton, dance and acro-classes. Nash said if there is a developer with a warehouse or a vacant piece of land, please get in touch with her at Nash Twirl Academy.
