Little is known about an Auburn woman who has been missing since early Sunday morning, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO). The 33-year-old Asian woman, Yin Wong, is still missing and PCSO is asking for any help with their search in hopes of a safe return.

At the moment, little is known about Wong as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Authorities were able to release her last known clothing as well as the location of her vehicle. A social media post on Facebook claimed to have seen Wong at 11:30 P.M. walking along New Airport Road towards Bel Aire Shopping Center in what the post described as a striped blue dress. The post went on to say that Wong caught their attention because she seemed confused and out of place.

KAHI News put in a call to PCSO Monday morning and as of 10 A.M. Wong was still missing and an active investigation was still in effect.

If you have any information pertaining to this case, you are urged to call PCSO at 530-886-5375.
