The National Weather Service is reporting snow has returned to the foothills, so expect winter weather into today with 2 to 5 inches possible at the 2000-3000 foot level and 8-16 inches over the Sierra Nevada pass.
Hazardous travel will impact commutes, be prepared for chain controls and heavy delays if youa re headed up into or out of the mountains. Tomorrow will see breezy winds from the north and more rain and snow on Wednesday and Thursday.
