A Newcastle man has been arrested on criminal charges in connection with organized crime, drugs and illegal weapons out of Woodland. The arrest was part of a widespread Northern California investigation by the FBI, the state Corrections Department and Woodland Police.A
18 arrests were made on federal charges and 10 more on state charges. 28-year-old James Masterson of Newcastle was among those charged. He allegedly used a cell phone to facilitate drug trafficking.
