Placer County Sheriffa s are reporting they have issued 20 citations to individuals that have been trespassing on parts of the Foresthill Bridge over the last two weeks. The bridge at 720 feet above the ground, it is the highest California and 4th highest bridge in the USA. Trespassers have been climbing over the safety fencing and getting on the bridge, taking video and photos that prove they are in illegal areas of the span. Officials said they have removed these obstacles and will be welding steel plates over the areas these deer devils are getting to. Bridge trespassers could face a two thousand dollar fine and/or six months in jail according to the Placer County Sheriffa s office.
