Placer County Now RED!

  • Indoor gatherings are discouraged, but allowed with modifications and limited to a maximum of three households.
  • Retail can expand operations to 50 percent maximum capacity.
  • Shopping centers will be allowed to operate at 50 percent maximum capacity with closed common areas and reduced food court capacity.
  • Museums, zoos and aquariums can operate indoors at 25 percent maximum capacity.
  • Places of worship can operate indoors at 25 percent maximum capacity.
  • Movie theaters can operate indoors at 25 percent maximum capacity or 100 people, whichever is less.
  • Fitness centers within hotels and lodging can operate at 10 percent capacity.
  • Gyms and fitness centers can operate indoors at 10 percent maximum capacity and open climbing walls.
  • Restaurants can operate indoors at 25 percent maximum capacity or 100 people, whichever is less.
  • Effective March 13, wineries, breweries, and distilleries were allowed to open outdoors with reservations, 90-minute time limits, seating/tables only and limited hours with service for on-site consumption closed by 8 p.m.

At last state release, counties must stay in color classification for three weeks before moving to another code.
