The suspect in the killing of Sacramento Police Officer Tara OaSullivan has a long record of violence, and records show he even threatened to blow up his own family with a bomb. Adel Sambrano Ramos was finally captured following several hours of a standoff shooting situation in North Sacramento Wednesday night and Thursday morning and booked into the Sacramento County Jail. Sacramento Superior Court records match Ramosa name to a series of criminal cases dating back to 1995, including multiple domestic violence and battery cases, theft and driving under the influence. There are also records of a divorce filing.

Court records show Ramosa latest case stems from a September charge that he battered a femaleA juvenile in September at the same Redwood Avenue address where Wednesday nightas siege began. Ramos also failed to show in court following arraignment last November and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He now faces a murder charge after the death of Police Officer OaSullivan following the shooting incident Wednesday night.
