Rocklin Unified School District appears to be preparing for a possible strike. The association placed a paid advertisement in the Sacramento BEE asking for substitute teachers to work at $425.00 a day. A dispute has risen to the boiling point between the teachers association and the Rocklin Unified School District over what the Union says are a Safety concerns, Special education issues and the need to make attracting and retaining the best teachers for our studenta s a priority.a The Union is asking on Facebook for parents to keep their children home from school in the event of a strike. The first day of school for Rocklin is Wednesday.
