A Roseville woman will be featured on the popular PBS show, “We’ll Meet Again.” The show, hosted by Ann Curry, aims to reconnect long lost friends.

Sherie Labedis, 71, spent the summer of 1965 registering black voters in South Carolina. The Roseville Tribune reports that Labedis’s segment will focus on her efforts to find Louis “Lefty” Bryant, an African-American man with whom she volunteered in Pineville, South Carolina.

Labedis helped register over 580 voters that summer and eventually released a memoir about her experience titled, “You Came Here to Die, Didn’t You?”
