A 26 year old female Sacramento police officer was killed while responding to a domestic situation yesterday afternoon. What started as a routine call, Tara Oa sullivan was a part of a team that was assisting a female pack her things preparing to leave the home when the officer was attacked by the male involved in the situation. It became a stand-off situation and Sacramento Police brought in a dart squad and forced entry to get Officer Oa sullivan out of the building, and took her to US Davis hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The male was subdued about 1 am this morning, and was taken into custody.
