Sandy Giuliani Amara has announced her intention to run for the Auburn City Council. A lifelong resident of Auburn attended local school and graduated from Placer High and received a masters degree from the University of San Francisco in counseling and also has a teaching credential. Amara also holds a Doctorate in Law from the Lincoln Law School and has a successful law practice in Auburn. Sandy is quoted in the AJ this weekend saying: I see many challenges ahead for the city of Auburn. We must ensure public and fire safety, attract and retain high quality sustainable businesses, improve our streets for pedestrians and bicycles, and encourage affordable housing for our seniors.a
