Roseville Police arrested a young man last Monday, March 5, after a report of threats against an Adelante High School student through social media.
Officers located 19-year-old Trevor Joseph Marshall behind a business on the 3900 block of Douglas Boulevard, approximately an hour after the threats were made known to the police. Marshall was found sitting in his vehicle and in possession of loaded assault rifle, similar to an AR-15.
Marshall was reportedly three miles from the high school when he was arrested at 1:15 p.m., according to Dee Dee Gunther, spokesperson for the Roseville Police Department. He is being held at the Placer County Jail on $50,000 bail.
Mondaya s incident was the second threat against Adelante High School in just two weeks. On Feb. 23, officers searched classrooms and students at the school after a student found a threat in a restroom.
