An 18-year-old Antelope man was killed yesterday morning as a result of a two-vehicle crash between a donut delivery truck and a pickup at North Auburna s New Airport Road and Grass Valley Highway, also known as highway 49. The Placer County Coronera s office released the name of the donut delivery truck as Barys Cherniienko. A CHP reports the donut van was traveling north on 49 and veered into the oncoming lane of the southbound pickup. Both vehicles were traveling about 50 miles per hour and crashed head on. CHP said drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
