A man and woman are A in custody in Placer County on suspicion of robbing an Auburn thrift store.

Police say the two entered the OaThrifts Family Value store on Feb. 6. Jonathan Charles Lyman, 22, distracted the cashier while Aundrea Marie Sole, 22, started stealing items.

The Auburn Journal reports that when another employee confronted her, Sole allegedly hit the worker in the arm and scratched anotheras neck. They fled the scene but were later arrested.

Sole was arrested on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, burglary and spitting on an officer.

Lyman, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy, and on warrants connected to possession of a controlled substance, burglary and vandalism.

Soleas bail is set at $210,000 and Lymanas is set at $170,000.
