A Union Mine High School student recently made a threat towards a staff member, according to El Dorado County Sheriffas Office. Union Mine High School Administration contacted the Sheriffs upon hearing about the threat and they began a investigation into the allegations. After speaking with Sheriff’s Deputies, the student was immediately removed from campus and an arrest warrant was issued. The minor was arrested for criminal threats and booked into El Dorado County Juvenile Hall. Due to the suspect’s age, police have not released their name.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office says there are currently no known or credible threats to Union Mine High School or any other schools.
