The Walker Wildfire in the Plumas National Forest is not classified as the largest wildfire currently burning in California. So far there have been 50 thousand acres scorched and it is 28% contained. Winds are not moving smoke toward Northern and East Placer County, the Tahoe area and Yuba County.
