A serial killer may have ambushed five men in separate incidents in Stockton over the past few months, shooting them to death alone in the dark. aBy definition, you could probably very well call this serial killing,a Stockton Police Chief Stanley McFadden said in a video from the Associated Press. Police remain unclear about why the victims were targeted. None were robbed or beaten, and the killings all took place within a few square miles of each other.

California gasoline prices have shot into near-record territory because of production-capacity problems at the stateas refineries a but prices may be peaking already and will likely start falling in the next few weeks. Gov. Gavin Newsomas decision last week to accelerate the seasonal switch to cheaper, winter-blend fuel will bring prices down by about $1 a gallon over the course of the month, said Dave Hackett of Stillwater Associates, an industry consulting firm in Irvine. California hit 6.142 average cost per regular gallon yesterday, second highest cost average this year. USA average for all states was 3.805. California is charging 2.337 per gallon than all other USA states average. Question is why? Some analysists are questioning the major cost variance between California and other states and suggest the Federal government does not react to CA gasoline prices since they focus on state wide costs not just a California costs even though California is the largest state, most usage of fuel, and with all other modes of transportation such as diesel fuel for rail movement, truck traffic from west coast ports to the entire USA, Air Traffic Jet A fuel needs, etc. It would appear this is a centered California Problem and needs relief at the state level which drives all costs throughout the food, fuel, household goods, construction needs, fuel distribution, medical and most other product needs that feed the USA from California Ports.

There are 83 ships now waiting at anchor, a record 17 days to unload in Los Angeles and Long Beach as of Friday night, a new record. Typical has been one to zero on average. This 17-day wait is double a month ago in California Ports. President Biden promised to fix this a year ago in November. California ports account for over 1/3 of imports from China or over one third of China imports to the USA. There is also major confusion over USA policy over labor contracts on handling ship unloading goods at CA ports, union labor on tucks to transport both ship goods and used containers to be returned to ships at CA Ports that are piling up and blocking transportation of incoming goods also. This again appears to be a classic federal government, state government, union clash that is shutting down goods and services to the USA but centered at California. Gov Newsome, this appears to ab an opportunity!
