The wife of the man who shot two Sheriffs in 2014 has also been convicted on first-degree murder charges.

A Sacramento County jury decided yesterday that Janelle Monroy was culpable in the 2014 shooting death of Placer County Sheriffas Detective Mike Davis Jr. in Auburn and Sacramento County Sheriffas Deputy Danny Oliver.

Last week, a Sacramento County jury deliberated for less than a day before coming back with guilty verdicts against Monroyas husband – Luis Bracamontes.

Monroy and her husband traveled from Salt Lake City, Utah to the Sacramento area in October 2014, before Bracamontes shot Oliver during a traffic stop in Sacramento and then killed Davis during a shootout in Auburn.

Monroy is scheduled for sentencing March 23 and faces 25 years to life in prison. Bracamontes faces the death penalty.
